Q.Honeysuckle

Zone Welwyn, Hertfordshire | grannyjanny added on May 7, 2017 | Answered

I have just got back from holiday to find my honeysuckle bush has been devastating eaten by something. It looks like snails but never seen anything like it before – any suggestions, do I just chop it back and let it grow again next year – all the leaves have been munched.

Inspect the shrub for any signs of pest.

Neem Oil can be used and will treat most sucking pests.

It's possible a critter such as rabbits or deer also could be the problem.
