Homemade recipe for killing Japanese beetles

Question

I want to get early start to get Japanese Beetles out of my garden and landscapes, already saw one of my neighbors with traps in her garden. I like to try something homemade remedy before using the trap, which make them come by quantity. Would you please send me some homemade recipes? I would really like that. I am looking forward to read all the tips!
