Hollybush, Green Leaves Falling Off, Some Browning Leaves. Plants Are In Large Pots, Been There For Years.

I am babysitting three potted holly bushes for the summer. I set the pots under an oak tree. Just noticed the green leaves falling off and some browning. I moved them from the patio under theoak tree to the back k steps, more sun. Don’t want them to die on my watch.

More light should help. You may have been overwatering in the shade. Now that they have more sun, don't water till the soil feels dry on top. These tips should help:
