Holly Leaves

My parents have four 50-ft holly trees that have been limbed up ten feet but they still have a problem with all the fallen leaves. What are some alternative to raking up the leaves each year?

While they have been limbed up, the issue is still light being able to get to all the branches. You should have the hollies thinned some higher up to help with light and air flow to all the leaves and branches. Other than that, there is not much you can do to stop the leaf fall. It is a natural process.
