holly bushes

I have several holly bushes in my garder. They were all covered over the winter to protect from wind and deer. All are now in perfect shape except for one, which has lost almost every leaf. What happened and with some care will it survive? Thanks.

Though the Holly was covered they still can have some winter damage.
Moisture levels in the soil may be different in this soil then the others.

Wait until new growth starts before pruning out any damaged areas of the plant.
