Holes in Tomatoes

This morning I found holes, about 10 mm in diameter, in 3 tomatoes on different plants. which are in a growbag. They were on the verge of turning red. Any idea what has caused this problem? I have cut the tomatoes to see if there was anything inside but found nothing. Thanks.
