Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comSomething has eaten holes along the center of every stem on some of my hosta plants. Never saw that before, and I have had hostas for over 20 years, and have about 200 plants. The plants affected are only in the front yard. I know slugs and snails can be a problem eating holes in leaves, which I treat with Sluggo or Bug Etta.

Difficult to identify the culprit, but late summer can bring a host of pest issues to the garden.
Gardening is aways keeping us on our toes!
I would treat with Neem Oil and do so weekly as a preventative throughout the remainder of the growing season.
