Q.Hole In Gold Zucchini Blossom Bud
Hi Everyone; I checked our garden this morning, and everything was fine. We have a gold zucchini plane with 5 (potentially) nice zucchini on it – (They still need to blossom and get pollinated). This evening, I discovered that something has eaten a large hole in one of the zucchini blossom buds. Would this be the work of squash bugs? It could be! It will be very difficult to say what is doing the damage without catching it in the act, however.
I would recommend broad spectrum pesticides, either organic or synthetic, to keep insect pests away. Here are some articles that will help:
