hibiscus that won’t bloom

Hibiscus is one of my favorite plants. I brought a twisted trunk variety indoors for the winter and placed it in as much light as possible. I brought it outside in late spring and it is now a beautifully shaped tree. However, it will not bloom. My other red hibiscus has new flowers on it daily and they are beautiful. Why doesn’t is bloom? What can I do to get it to bloom? I put bloom food in the dirt surrounding the tree as directed. It still has not bloomed. Thank you.

It likely needs some more fertilizer, especially phosphorus which helps with blooming. Use a “bloom booster” fertilizer or add some bone meal to the soil to help add some phosphorus.
