Q.Hibiscus Plant Won’t Bloom

Anonymous added on August 7, 2011 | Answered

Have searched your site but can’t seem to locate any information as to why a hibiscus plant won’t bloom. Big beautiful plant, appears healthy just never blooms out. Any ideas?

Are you fertilizing? If so, you may be giving it too much nitrogen, which promotes more foliage growth. What about pruning? Sometimes hibiscus plants need to be pruned in order to prompt flowering.
