Hibiscus plant

I received a blooming hibiscus plant for Mother’s day. I have fed it a couple of times with 15-30-15 and it is budded and ready to bloom again. However, almost every day, it has at least a dozen yellow leaves that I pick off. Any ideas?

Yellowing leaves are quite common on Hibiscus and can be due to a few different reasons.
