Q.Hibiscus Indoor Plant

Anonymous added on February 24, 2011 | Answered

How do I know if my plant is going ‘dormant?’ It got white flies and I think I got them, but my plant has been rather languishing ever since, doing the yellow leaves bit. Also, it has mottled leaves and some shiny spots on top, but I can see no sign of pests. I love that plant! Can it be saved?

It definitely sounds like it is going dormant, but never fear, the active season is coming very soon. In the next month or so, you should see leaf growth return to the plant. As long as the branches are still pliable, it is alive and will recover.
