It’s best to wait until spring before you do any pruning. Freeze-damaged plants can often recover if they’re given time. First, protect the plant from future freeze damage by putting blankets or burlap over it if any future freezes are predicted. Then, wait to see if the plant puts out leaves in spring or early summer. Then, you’ll be able to see which parts of the plant have died and prune accordingly. Also see this article:
