Q.Hibiscus Flowers Fall Off – Why

Anonymous added on May 15, 2014 | Answered

I’ve had my hibiscus plant for approx. 5 years. It does flower, but the beautiful flowers fall off in one day. It is potted and I bring it in during the winter. I do fertilize it with Oscomote. Can you tell me if this is the way hibiscus plants are or am I doing something wrong? It is a tropical hibiscus. Thank you for your help.

Actually, hibiscus flowers normally only last a day. Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/hibiscus-flowers-hibiscus-blossoms-falling-off-plant.htm
