Q.Hibiscus Damage

Anonymous added on January 9, 2011 | Answered

I live in northeastern Ohio and I keep my plants in my attached garage. One day we went away, and the door somehow opened with the outside temperature at 19. When we got home in about three hours, the themometer in the garage showed 36, but it’s been four days now and the leaves are turning brown. Can they be brought back?

As long as the branches are still alive (they will bend instead of breaking), the tree will regrow its leaves.
