Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a very old and beautiful hibiscus that produces very large ruffled pink flowers. All of my new growth is producing wrinkled leaves. I have tried cutting back some places but the new growth still comes out wrinkled and very small. What is happening? I don’t want to lose my plant, as it is so different from most plants I see now due to the very large flowers.

I had many hibiscus plants that suffered the same ailment. My local garden store diagnosed mites, and recommended a miticide. It meant continuous use to keep the disease in check. I also pruned the plants to keep unhealthy leaves/flowers at bay.
