Hibiscus Bud Drop

Golden hibiscus in large pot, for second summer on south facing brick patio. Have had about 5 big flowers, have 30 or 40 buds of various sizes. Almost every day, one or two buds (with color beginning to show) drop to the ground. Water with hose almost every day, temps have been in high 80’s, planter has drain holes. Help – I did not have this problem last summer. I use plenty of miracle grow and bloom booster. Just added 3 tbsp of blood meal. I can’t stand missing those flowers. If this continues it goes to the trash in October.
