Question

I had a beautiful yellow hibiscus tree on my outside deck in the summer. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I brought the plant inside before the weather got too cold and placed the plant in my south facing kitchen window. The leaves started turning yellow and soon all fell off. I can see the branches are still green inside and think they have a little growth on the ends of the branches. I hate to see this plant die, as it is so beautiful. Any hints as to what I need to do to keep this plant alive?

Fortunately, hibiscus rebound well to acclimation shock. If you just give it some TLC, it will regrow its leaves (https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/wintering-hibiscus-indoors-winter-care-for-hibiscus.htm ). It may not regain its good looks over the winter, but as long as the branches stay green, it will come back full force when you place it back outside in the spring.
