Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comCan I cut the hibiscus plants back and store them in the garage over the winter? Do I need to keep them watered during this time? It is probably too cold here in NC to leave them outside. They are in pots.

They will do best if they receive light, and are treated as if they were still growing. They don’t need a true dormancy. If You can keep them in a spot where it receives light and stays a little warmer than that would be best. Just water much less than you typically would.
