Hibiscus

I have two potted hibiscus that have blessed me with many blooms in the last two months. What does it mean when the leaves turn yellow? Does it need water, or has it had too much water or something else?

Hibiscus leaves often turn yellow when they are overwatered or underwatered. Overwatering is more likely indoors or if the potting soil is poorly drained, and underwatering is more likely outdoors, especially in hot or dry conditions. You can also feel the soil surface and lift the pot before watering to see if the plant needs watering.
