How and do you prune hibiscus? Do they really have to come in the house in the winter months, and what make the leaves turn yellow and fall off?

This will help you with the pruning: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/tips-for-pruning-hibiscus-plants-when-to-prune-hibiscus.htm

This will help with the yellow leaves: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/hibiscus/answers-to-what-causes-hibiscus-leaves-turning-yellow.htm

Unless you live in Zone 9 or higher, it does need to come into the house. It cannot tolerate cold.
