Normally how many days does a ponytail plant takes to get the new shoots after pruning from the trunk

Ponytails shouldn't be pruned except to remove pups. Did you make cuts in a young plant to force new heads? If so, once the cut calluses, it should soon send up new growth. (I didn't find an exact length of time in my research.) Here is more:
