Q.Hi… Will roses grow well in a shaded area? It\’s down the side of my house – quite bright but no sun. Thanks you….

It's going to depend a lot on what kind of rose you're growing, but many rose plants will grow fine in an area that isn't too shaded if there's enough light hitting the leaves. The downside of planting a rose in an area that gets an inadequate amount direct sun is that you'll fewer (or no) flowers and the plants may get rather leggy.
