Hi. I’m Just Wondering If I Cut Coleus Plant Without Putting It On Soil Or Water Will It Survive?

I’m planning to give 8 varieties of coleus to my friend. she will going to receive it for less than 24 hrs. Will the cuttings survive?

I would at least wrap the cut ends in wet paper towels. Otherwise, it will wilt terribly and may not recover.
