Q.Help Please, The Money Tree That My Daughter Bought Me A Year Ago Mother’s Day Is Dying.
I kept the money tree in the middle of my dining room table, it’s a bright spot away from drafts and direct sunlight. The leaves on it started dropping off and what leaves that were growing back, started growing back smaller. Then I noticed that one of the trunks was squishy, so I cut it off. Then I thought it needed transplanting but when I went to transplant it, it was not near close enough to being root bound. But I did notice there were twist ties on it to keep it braided, so thinking it might be cutting into the plant, I took them off. That did not help either. I tried giving it houseplants food and plant vitamins to no avail. I’ve always watered it once a week. I haven’t seen any bugs on it, nor any fungus growth. I have recently moved it to my sunroom, still out of direct sunlight. When my daughter bought it was sent through a mail oorder . I promised my daughter that I wouldn’t let it die, but I don’t know what else to do. Help me please. Regina Bowden

To me, that looks very, very rootbound. These are large shrubs and will appreciate a large container. Start with a one gallon and work from there.
