Q.Help, My To Plant Is Dying.

Zone South Bend, Indiana 46628 | faniocino added on June 8, 2020 | Answered

My type plant is from 2012 and it’s in the biggest pot pretty much that I can handle. Maybe about 3 or 4 years ago it got a flower on it But since then has not and I don’t water it unless the top soil is dry but my leaves are turning brown at the tips and then totally turning Brown. I’m going to try some new soil Potting soil and some Plant Rejuvenator; Can’t think of the name you said. I do not wish to put it outside even in the summertime and it’s it’s in a window The whole year I turn it periodically. Any other tips would be so helpful I hate to lose this plant.

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. There are too many factors that could be wrong, and without much information and no photos I can't possibly give you a diagnosis.

The only thing that I can suggest at the moment is that it is overwatered. Since this is in a very large pot, it is necessary to make sure that roots are colonized throughout the entire pot. If there is quite a bit of soil that has not had a chance to form roots through it, or the plant was potting up more than a few inches bigger of a pot, then this will be even more likely.

Unfortunately, I can't offer much information without much information. There are just too many factors at play without knowing specifics. Pictures are often worth more than description, by far.
