HELP! My Gorgeous Gardenia, Indoors For The Winter, And Still Here Because Of Philly Weather, Is Dying.

About three days ago, while watering my gorgeous gardenia, to my horror I saw that every leaf “cluster” at the top ends of each branch were completely draped in what I can only describe as a very, very thin web. They have shrouded each limb, and, hopefully as you can see from the two attached photos, they are rapidly killing every leaf. Please tell me that you know the problem and that there some spray or powder I can rush out, buy then apply? Again… HELP!

Uh-oh. Spider Mites.

Had this been caught much earlier at the first sign of leaf spotting, it could be saved.

Once it gets to this point. the plant is likely to die. These mites carry plant pathogens and on top of the mites, the plant is likely to be infected, too.
