Poison Ivy Plants

Q.Help! My entire vegetable garden and yard (have .3 acres) invaded with Poison Ivy. Should I take down veggies and start again next

year? Attached neighbor’s yard has a tree that seems to be populating the Ivy in his yard, mine, and another nearby yard. Seeing poison ivy plants popping up almost minute by minute. I have been carefully removing the plants by the roots but I almost need an army to help. I do have a small dog so I am avoiding chemical prays. I am allergic to the poison ivy so I am trying to minimize my exposure.

If you've got that many, I would go with the glyphosate. As long as the puppy isn't in the yard while the ground is wet with chemical, it should be fine. I'm told boiling water will kill it, but if you have a lot of poison ivy, that would be time consuming.
