Q.Help Bromeliad House Plant

Zone Naples Florida | Anonymous added on March 7, 2023 | Answered

I am in Florida I bought last August and the end of the month Bromeliad planted it in pot. Sorry I lose track of time living in Florida. So I don’t know when it went brown. It is in a room in the house that usually has the air conditioning on though I closed the vents in the room the plant is in. This month the air conditioning is off. I water once a week. But months ago maybe before Christmas it was brown and dead. I am including some pictures. I can pull the whole center thing out of the dirt and just have a pot of dirt. I am wondering if I can get it to come back? If so how? What should I do? Or is it dead for good never coming back? Your help would be great.

it doesn't sound good. If it has been brown that long, it may have expired. However, they usually produce pups after they bloom. Did you get any of those? They can be removed to start a new plant. Make sure you are only watering the little cup.
