Hello, How Do I Prune A Bottle Brush

Question

The plant is mature, has plenty seeds and new growth come through the end of the cluster seeds.I dont know how to prune the Bush and scared I may damage it if I do. So I have left it and it’s now a large Bush in need of pruning, help please. Thanks
