helleborus niger care

Question

I’m wondering if you can help me. I have several hellebore Niger and the flowers have seen better days. I’ve searched for information on care and I’ve only found info about leaves. Could you tell me if you’d advise cutting the flowers down, etc.

Remove the flowers once the color begins to dull and they start to droop. Doing so will allow for future growth. Prune old foliage when the new starts to keep it from overcrowding itself.
