Q.Hellebore’s With Black Disease

I have removed a hellebore that has black disease can I replace it with another one in the same place?

Since it is spread by insects rather than water splashing off soil, it should be OK to plant in the same place. Incorporate compost to help disperse any pathogens just to be sure, and use mulch to prevent anything soil-borne from splashing on plants.
