Q.Heirloom Varieties Of Garlic
Looking for a Hardneck Variety of Garlic for Zone 6B. I want what I believe is Heirloom, which is to say the harvested bulbs could be used to produce the exact same Garlic variety when re-planted. It is my understanding that some varieties may be crosses or hybrids and will not necessarily re-grow the same variety. I am interested in Chesnok Red but can not determine if it is an heirloom. German-Extra hardy and Spanish Roja seem to suggest they are heirloom.
