Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHeather just answered my question and said that it might be a pollination problem. Could it be that there are male and female plants of elderberry too? That is what one friend believes. I don’t know which one I have if that is the case.

You must grow two plants-one of each variety-not two of the same. Whereever you bought them should have told you that. You can look at any of the nursery sites and they will say that in description. We’ve grown them fo ryears=love them! Make great wine. Get two varieties. Good luck
