Health of fig tree

I left my potted fig tree out overnight in a sudden frost. Leaves are wilted but fruit appears to be ripening. Have I ruined or killed my tree?

Figs can usually recover from frost damage as long as the entire tree has not been killed. Since the fruit are still ripening, the tree is surely alive. The best option is to protect the tree from further frost and see how it does next year. Also see this article:
