Q.Hawaiian Ti

Zone 32221 | Anonymous added on April 14, 2025 | Answered

I have two large hawaiian ti plants for a year now that have grown to be about 5ft tall, this winter in Northeast FL they had freeze damage, so from the middle of the plants down the leaves are brown and a falling off here and there, the top foot or so is growing nicely and bright pink/purple. the stems appear fine, do I cut it down to the ground and start over?

If just the leaves are brown, you can try removing those and new ones may fill in. If not, you can cut it to the ground.
