Q.hawaiian schefflera

My plant had a bad case of root rot so I cleaned and clipped the roots and repotted and cut all the branches and leaves that were dead. Well, my question is, will the plant bounce back?

If you still had viable roots, your plant can certainly recover.
Take care to not have to large of a pot and well draining potting mix.
