Q.Hardy Climber With Beautiful Flowers?

Hello, I live in a 1st floor east facing flat in Hackney, London. I have a balcony with two boxes 40x20x20cm. I struggle to get a vine or climber of any kind established. I have a trellis going up the buiding. I need suggestions for a sustainable, hardy climber with beautiful flowers spring and summer, and the type of soil iI should use.

Fill your planter boxes with a good potting soil mix. Here are some plant suggestions that should work in your weather (looks like it rarely freezes there.) Since your window faces east, that is part sun, but often it will work for a plant that needs full sun or shade. These articles should help:
