Hail damaged flowers, shrubs and trees

Aside from trimming and pruning, should I also fertilize? If so, what brand for flowers and shrubs and how often should I apply? I have a hose-end container for spraying.

I would not recommend fertilizing until the plants show signs of actively growing.
Then fertilize according to your plants regular fertilizer recommendations.
