Q.Hibiscus Treatment for Tiny White Bugs on Leaves
We are bringing our hibiscus indoors for the winter; last winter we had a hibiscus that had hundreds of tiny white bugs. How can we prevent the same thing from happening to this plant? Thank you!

If you are bringing in a potted tropical hibiscus, you can hose it down well with water and cut it back by up to 1/3 before bringing it indoors. Neem oil is a good treatment for any pest issues that you may have, especially whiteflies, which may be the culprit here. Another thing you can use to spray your plants is a simple soap solution, 2 tsp mild soap to 1 quart of water. Spray thoroughly so plant is dripping. Spray especially up from the bottom, so the bottom of the leaves are soaked. Will need to spray 3 or 4 times, at weekly intervals.
