Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy habanero chilies as well as other varieties seem to go through this same cycle. They produce lots of flowers and peppers (about 50), but as they mature, only a few make it to full maturity, the rest start dropping off the plant and the top of the plant stops to grow and turns a bit yellow. Then about 3 weeks after all the chilies fall off, the plant will start to grow nice and green again and produce flowers and chilies and go through the cycle again.
I never had any problems growing chili peppers in Northern California but now I live in a humid tropical location and can’t get them to grow properly.

This looks a bit like, both, phosphorus and magnesium deficiencies. It could indicate a true deficiency or it could indicate a pH imbalance.
Testing pH first, would be recommended. After, you can test for deficiencies.
