How can I safely rid my vegetable garden of grubs?

You can use grub treatment in the vegetable garden, but I would wait several weeks before eating anything from the garden, just to be on the safe side.

Are you sure it is grubs? I would suspect that your problem may instead be from slugs. They tend to creep in at night, chew up leaves and be gone by morning. To test to see if it is slugs, leave a pan of beer nearby overnight. If it is slugs, you will find a few in the beer in the morning.
