Grub worms in lawn

Parts of my lawn have been destroyed by grub worms. They have already been sprayed but do not seem to be returning to green lawn. Do I need to dig up these areas and replace them with new strips of grass or can I just rake them and put soil and seed. Thank you.

You’ll first need to take care of the grub problem, then you can focus on fixing the grass by either resowing the dead area or re-sodding. You’ll also have to fertilize it. Occasionally, the dead grass will come back on its own following grub and fertilizing treatment.
