growth on cactus

Question

Can you tell me what is growing on my cacti plant,someone mention to me it may be new growth don’t worry. I see no signs of mealybugs. I fertilize once a month beings it’s outside I water it well every other day.

That is a new baby cactus forming! This is nothing to worry about, and is a sign that it is healthy. If you are lucky, you may even see blooms from this cactus, eventually.
