Q.Growing Purple Majesty ornamental millet
I just purchased a Purple Majesty plant. It is in a 6-inch pot and has 3 “cattails.” If I plant this in the garden, will it send up more grass and additional seed heads, or is it all done at this stage? Would cutting the seed heads make the plant grow more? Thanks for any advice you can give.

If you plant your Purple Majesty in the garden, it could grow as high as 3 to 5 feet, and if transplanted soon, there's a chance you could see quite a few more blooms yet (and you can leave the dead blooms and seed spikes on it, it won't hurt anything).
