Growing Luffa Gourds How To Get Female Blooms Early In Season

I live in central NC. Starting in May I get lots of male blooms. Most often there are no female blooms til August. This doesn’t allow time for mature fruit before frost.

You can start the seeds indoors. When the first male blooms appear, you should remove them. Also remove the first four lateral branches for a sturdier plant. Here is more:
