growing lima beans

Question

How late can I plant bush lima beans? Can I fertilize with miracle-gro when planting? If so, how should I apply it? I was told 2 rototill soil and just put the seed in the ground about 2 in with finger and don’t cover with dirt so that the plant can come up out of the ground easily. Any thoughts?
