Q.Growing Lilium philadelphicum from seed

Zone Southern Michigan | wcarah added on November 9, 2013 | Answered

I recently acquired seed for Wood Lily (Lilium philadelphicum) and would like to grow these plants at my Michigan residence. I’ve have grown many more trees from seed than I have wild flowers, so I need a fundamental lesson in how to propagate this very attractive species. As it is now November, what steps should I take now and next spring?
