I have a new grandson named Jacob and I want to get a Jacob’s ladder plant for his parents. Can you grow one indoors or outside only?

Congratulations!
Jacob's Ladder is a woodland perennial. It would be difficult to grow indoors, but a shady garden spot would be perfect.

Here is a link with growing information.

I did find a perennial named Jacob's Rod.

A Bee Balm or Monarda cultivator named Jacob's Rod-it is red in color.

Good Luck with your garden project.
