Growing Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkins

I have a lot of blooms. Should I pick any of the blooms off to promote formation of pumpkin?

I would leave the flowers. This is where the pumpkins come from, at least on the female blossoms. Male blossoms (non fruiting), of which there may be many early on as with squash plants, will eventually drop on their own. The females will begin to form and produce fruit soon after.
